About Liz

“Much about what we’ve been told about ageing is wrong. We’re not meant to shrink, fade or be sidelined. We’re not here to spend our later years in silent decline. We’ve simply never been shown the full picture of what’s possible – or how to take control of it. Until now.”

LIZ’S STORY

From asking questions to changing the narrative

Journalist

Liz’s working life began at Molton Brown. When a journalist visited to interview the team, she was inspired to take her career in a different direction – Liz realised she wanted to be the one asking the questions. She landed a role at Women’s Journal where, as luck would have it, nobody on staff was there to cover the little-known emerging field of wellness, natural health and complementary medicine. The task fell to the junior, Liz, who was immediately hooked. She quickly built a reputation for separating wellness fact from fiction and went on to both co-found the Guild of Health Writers in 1994 and successfully launch the first campaign for clearer food labelling at a governmental level.

Author & Broadcaster

Liz's first book, Vital Oils, made the case for healthy fats at a time when everyone was going low-fat, a countercultural stance that put her years ahead of the curve. That led to a role as lifestyle and beauty reporter on the launch of This Morning. She went on to present for both the BBC and GMTV before returning to ITV to host her own afternoon show, Liz Earle's Lifestyle.

Entrepreneur

In 1995 Liz co-founded Liz Earle Beauty Co. which she grew into one of Britain’s biggest independent beauty brands over the next 15 years. She was awarded an MBE in 2007 for services to business and left the company soon after it was sold in 2010. The sale brought Liz back to her original passion for writing and broadcasting, and she went on to found Liz Earle Wellbeing – a trusted lifestyle platform for women in midlife and beyond.

Wellbeing Pioneer

Since then, Liz has become one of the UK's most trusted voices in women's wellbeing, with multiple No.1 bestsellers on menopause, gut health, skin and longevity, each one translating cutting-edge science into practical, everyday advice. Her loyal following of women, many of whom have been with her for decades, rely on her for honest, evidence-led guidance.

Now she's focusing on the pro-ageing revolution, helping women feel bolder, stronger, happier and more purposeful with every decade.
